In the last 15 years, Cuba has turned into the most interesting biotech-location in Latin America. With more than 25 000 employees in research, development and production Cuba has become Latin Americas biggest exporter of pharmaceutical products. These include classical generics, but mostly vaccines, biosimilars, therapeutic antibodies and candidate active substances with a big potential.
